Pressing Your Transfer
Line up the transfer to be in the position you like. Make sure you are certain the transfer is in the perfect spot before you heat press it because it cannot be un-pressed!
Once the transfer placement is set, heat press the transfer for about 15-20 seconds.
Note: Set the press to 300°F-320°F / 160°C to get the best results!
Lift the heat press off of the transfer and let it cool for a few seconds to set. Then, carefully peel the transfer paper off of the garment from one corner to the opposite corner, ensuring no part of the image gets pulled up with the transfer paper.
To ensure a beautiful, lasting design, cover the area with a piece of parchment paper and heat press for another 15 seconds. Once completed, the garment is fully ready to be used!
Line up the transfer to be in the position you like. Make sure you are certain the transfer is in the perfect spot before you use the iron on it because once the transfer adheres to the fibers of the garment, it cannot be undone!
Turn your iron to the highest temperature setting that your particular garment can withstand. (Make sure the garment will not burn!) While the iron heats up, place a piece of parchment paper over the entire area of the transfer and press on it for 10-15 seconds to ensure it will not move with the iron. Once the iron is hot, move the iron over the transfer from one side to the other in small circular motions for about 20-25 seconds.
Let the transfer cool before gently peeling the transfer paper off from one corner to the opposite corner. Watch the transfer as you do this to ensure no part of the design lifts up with the transfer paper. If any part of the design starts to come up, simply place the transfer paper back down and follow the instructions found in the "Press" tab above once more.
Note: If a large portion of the design starts to peel up with the transfer paper, it may be an indication that you need to increase the heat of the iron or the time of the pressing.
To ensure a beautiful, lasting design, cover the area with a piece of parchment paper and ironin the same fashion for another 15 seconds. Once completed, the garment is fully ready to be used!
